Hey guys, I'm looking for some help regarding the flasher relay under the steering column.

No matter what I try, I can't seem to un-attach it. Am I hitting the wrong spot with my flat-head? Do I hit the hole in the white part (clip), or the tiny little slot on the flasher itself?

Also, from using search, it seems some people gave up and just pulled downwards on it to remove it via brute force. Is this just easier and I should say fuck it and do this?

Any suggestions or help would be greatly appreciated.
