I like left foot out, then lifting myself up from the seat using my left hand on the door sill, swivel and right foot out all in one sweeping motion. I go to the gym and also run regularly, so being fairly muscular helps. Prefer not to swivel my butt in the seat, this FR-S upholstery might not take it for too long. Not something I want to do 20 times a day. Getting in I sometimes almost whack my head on the A pillar.
Even in the WRX I find that the left side seat back bolster leather is starting to look slightly scuffed at the stitching which drives me nuts, so I exit that gently as well. I noticed on previous Honda products after a few years the left seat bolster leather looked pretty beat up, thankfully Subaru leather is holding up better.
