Egress from FRS

Just woke up from my before lunch nap. I'd like to hear from some of you about getting out of the car, along with any passengers having problems getting out.

I swing 90 degrees so both of my feet are out of the car then I lean forward and use the steering wheel at little bit to move forward and now I use the A-Pillar with the back of my bicep to push out the last bit of me. That last part I just started doing (a-pillar) for about 6 months now. I gained about 80 pounds in retirement and have yet to stop eating. I'm going to turn down the shoveling of food into the mouth probably sooner than later. It gotten old quick. 4 years of eating anything and everything and I think I have it out of my system.

When I take my Mom out to Doctor appointments sometimes we take the FRS. She has short legs and they just reach the ground. I then have to get under her armpits and lift her out. It sure is a spectacle with her walker and everything.

My girlfriend is really tall and is all legs, kinda like long sticks. It is comical to watch her get out of the car. She's 55 and her balance is something to be seen. Kind of a teeter-tooter just walking on dry land. But I love her.

I don't want anybody to scratch the door sills. So plan on getting tutored when going for a drive in my cars. I had one car that I wore out the door sill and said if I ever buy another new car that I will not do that again. Call me anal but I prefer Dennis.
