I try to explain a little bit, partly because I like to inform people, and partly because I get a real kick outta seeing how confused some people get hearing that my Scion FR-S with Toyota badges is actually a Subaru

My conversations differ a bit since I am still badged as Scion. This however really confuses the hell out of the locals because we never got Scions in my town until 2012 and even then there were so few that the vast majority have never heard of it. So first I have to explain what Scion is, then that it is Toyota everywhere else and then that it is assembled (not "made") by Subaru. This usually results back at the start and explaining what Scion is.
