Opel GT was a sexy looking car. TR7 was interesting, the TV commercial where it drove into a wedge shaped trailer. The 1800 ES Volvo was nice, more of a professor or doctor's car. Sort of a more upscale Karmann Ghia. The 264 Volvo sedan was also a teacher/doctor/professor intellectual car to me.
The piece du resistance for me was when there was a white Toyota 2000 GT parked down the street from my house in the mid seventies. I never forgot that car. And a neighbours friend had a red Maserati Merak in those years.
