Alright so I decided to stop into a somewhat local dealer (30 miles away) who had two Hyper Blue's on the lot. I mainly did this to see the color in person. People always say the color in photos isn't done justice. I never really understood what this meant... until today. I saw one with a full STI aero kit (rear OEM diffuser included) and my opinion went from wondering if the car would benefit from it to my current feelings that while the car is fine without it, the STI aero kit really sets the car off! Definitely would be one of my first things to look into. Next, I may be wildly unpopular with this opinion but I hate the stock wheels, I don't like the design and have hated the chrome stock look since the car was released. I admittedly was sad this series only came with blacked out wheels and not the STI. However, after seeing them in person I have to say this car just always needs the stock wheels blacked out, it totally made the stock look acceptable and while I would still appreciate the STI wheels for nothing more than to complete the aero kit, I don't mind the stock Hyper Blue wheels now that they are blacked out. Additionally, I have and still am a huge fan of the Series.Blue interior with the blue leather panels. I think it was unique and was only second to the Release Series 2.0 Camel interior (I'm a huge fan). So naturally, I wasn't too excited that the Hyper Blue had just the stitching. However, I must say the Hyper Blue stitching is PERFECT! I wouldn't want any colored panels. The BRZ on the seatback is beautiful as well. While I still really like the Series.Blue Interior, I have come to really appreciate the Hyper Blue's almost "subdued" look on the interior if that makes sense. I really felt as if before all this my biggest conundrum would be the color because I am and always will be a WRB fan. I love that color and felt as if I didn't get that color I would regret it but the Hyper Blue dispelled those concerns. As a matter of fact, this has nothing to do against Series.Blue owners but there are plenty of WRB BRZ's available and out in the wild and all it takes is some red calipers, STI wheels and Aero kit and for all intents and purposes your special edition BRZ looks the same as others (On the exterior) obviously the interior changes. However, when it comes to the Hyper Blue, they are so limited and honestly I have not seen a Hyper Blue car in the last six months outside of a Crosstek parked in a Costco lot once (I believe). The color alone on a BRZ sets off the BRZ from any other 86 on the road. Similar to what the FR-S RS 1.0 does. Other than that, I didn't get much time with the new head unit or anything like that but I can now comfortably say I will be looking into getting a Hyper Blue if availability permits.

I have to agree with every single thing you said especially the interior. I like how subtle yet standout it is with the black on blue contrast. I would have written this exact paragraph but I'm always hesitant about writing books on forum sites! Good luck in tracking one down!
