So a quick test went well. Even though there are differences in the locking tabs they didn't interfere with each other.
Only sad thing I realized is I don't have blanking plugs to ensure they section I'm going to add on both sides remains water tight and I don't have engineering calipers to measure the diameter to then search te.com for plug blanks.
