Hey everybody, this is my 2016
Series.Hyperblue, Stella!
This is my first car that I got on my own without my parents, and my first manual transmission and I got to say I was loving it! Until someone hit me that is... but I thought I would show the damage, how it's coming along with repairs, and my plans for the car when I get her back from the shop this Friday (3/25/16)
Here was the car when I got her from the dealership on 1/25/2016. #396/504 HyperBlues.
The only "mod" I did before the wreck, was tint my stock tails, I didn't want them completely black, but I did want them dark, and I think they came out perfect.
Barely over a week after the purchase, a drunk driver turned in front of me as I was going through an intersection claiming she didn't see me. I turned to try to avoid a head on collision, and luckily didn't total my car. She swiped out my entire passenger side though, along with frame and suspension damage.
Luckily, she had amazing insurance and State Farm agreed she was 100% at fault. They sent my car to one of their authorized body shops, and about a month and a half later, she is almost complete. Just need to finish installing the airbags and replacing the passenger seat (which has airbags inside the seat) and I should get her back by the end of the week! The body shop did an amazing job with the car, and she looks and drives good as new, which I was really surprised about.
As far as my plans go, I've put together my list of things I have, and want to get in the future for my car. Keep in mind, where it says "Current" I don't mean it's installed. The car is in the shop, and is completely stock. But I have all those parts in my garage and I am going to install everything as soon as I get the car back
