My first was a hand me down silver 1976 Mercury Capri II 4 cyl my Mom owned when new and I shared with 2 siblings. It was our family's first imported car (from Germany). The 2.3 L engine/auto trans had no guts and I got in trouble when my brother's friend reported to my family he had seen me flying around a corner almost taking the tires off the rim. I was just practicing what I had seen rally drivers do on TV.
Notable feature: a "rolling" light, basically a goose neck map light on the passenger side A pillar that was handy when the passenger was rolling a joint.
