Hey guys. Have any of you ever lost boost pressure on the top end? I was doing a 4th gear pull when around 7000rpm boost pressure dropped to 4psi. Afterwards, I tapped the throttle to check for boost and got nothing out of the bypass, but I did hear a very short squealing noise. I pulled over to check all the intercooler pipes and made sure the rotrex was still spinning. Nothing out of the ordinary. I drove the car for a moment while the SC continued to not make any boost pressure then suddenly boost pressure came back.
This made me think the bypass valve got stuck open, but iirc the pressure being built by the C38 is sufficient to hold the bypass valve closed during WOT. So I'm currently at a loss. Any ideas?
