I didn't read the whole thread but here's my take... you should be able to trade it at a dealer for a similar year/mileage for just a couple grand. Either bring cash or get a small loan. Getting paid under the table is gonna hurt since you have no proof of income. Should only cost a couple grand unless you trade up
