Here is what I usually say when someone says "I love my job" and I'm in a particularly snarky mood.
" Really, let's examine it for a second. If you had everything you need because it fell like manna from heaven, would you get up everyday, get in your car, drive to the same place and be a <put your profession here> because you love it that much? I believe some folks would. For example my musician son who plays the Sax for a living would. Some (but not all) pastors and even caregivers would. That's because its just in their nature.
