Front suspension damage can be hard to "see" without the proper instruments and experience.

Back in the day, one could visually inspect the shock absorber and tie rod to see if they were bent. The bearings and spindle could be easily taken apart and inspected, to see of they were lose, worn or dry.

But you didn't ask about back in the day ..........

I would suggest you take your car into a reputable auto shop, that specializes in alignments and have them check it out.
