Old thread back from the dead again...

My catch can has never caught much volume of oil. When I thought on occasion that I had accumulated an inch of oil in the can it was in fact just a bubble of oil filling an inch of the gauge on the can.

My intake manifold is spotless inside, indicating little or no blow by from the crankcase vent.

I recently put the supercharger back in my car, after only getting maybe 1000 kms from it before it died last year. I have put a few hundred kms on it this year on mild days. I will monitor both the can as well as the throttle body to determine how much blow by there actually is with my max 8.5 lb set up.

Based on the input of a mechanic on this thread, these cars, when properly broken in should typically allow very little blow by past the piston rings. I am sure with higher boost applications the blow by will be greater.
