Yep, as @steve99 recommended, I'd have a code reader hooked up to see if it has any stored codes.

BTW, as I mentioned, a code reader (< $100), is a good thing to have on hand.

Back in the day ...... before codes ...... it most likely would have been because an automatic choke was sticking .......(someone just shoot me .... ).
