I also think that Rotrex units might be out there on our cars in the hundreds. I am willing to bet the failure rate is insignificant and the chances of it not being warrantied are even less likely. Sort of like the blown engine threads. They used to make me feel horrible about my engine, especially the N/A blown engines. But the actual failure rate is miniscule. What I don't have is actual numbers though so asking a vendor for their take is a better bet. This is sort of along the lines of what a vendor told me about failure rates of the Rotrex units.
