Look at it this way: it doesn't take very many functioning brain cells to floor it on a powerful car in a straight line. Most of the time, the cars that blow by me on the straights are braking early and getting all wobbly approaching corners.
Accept it - know your strengths, and what battles aren't worth wasting gas on.
