I am interested on your feelings on the rain guards. Another reason I am nervous to pull the trigger is water in the engine bay. Looks like the water drips forward on the radiator, then to the bottom under engine pan then to the ground. I don't drive my car much and only in the rain when I get caught in it. The pressure washer is my concern.
Sorry to thread jack.

You aren't thread jacking, I had the same concerns at first. I can say that after installing these vents with the rain guards that I'm not worried about washing the car even with a pressure washer. Just don't direct the water straight at the vents and it shouldn't overwhelm the engine bay with water. You could even spend a couple minutes covering the top each of them with aluminum foil and tucking it in the louvers before you wash it to get two layers of protection, but I think that's a bit excessive, lol. I will probably just use a soapy wash mit or sponge to get the front of the hood and lightly rinse it, then pressure wash everywhere else.
Remember our engine is not made of paper mache

Water penetrates the cooling package all the time when driving in rain and the fans spray it all over the block and it just evaporates.
