I haven't. I found that I was dropping pressures toward the end of the season (confidence finally improving, though surface temps also dropping.) That's contrary to what I've heard others say they did with 255's, but my times were improving quite a bit and I wasn't having issues rolling over the sidewall. Some of that may have been the camber thing. I imagine a lot will change after the camber change.
It should also be noted that I have very different spring rates than many seem to run, so even if I ran 245's and preferred 255's (hasn't happened so I don't know) that may be specific to my setup. Maybe I'll have the opportunity to swap tires with someone else in the class this year, maybe not.
I've heard many describe their preference for the 245 RE71R in the same way the RS3 was described - a bit more responsive feel, especially on transitions.
I admit I'm a little unsure on the matter - while I respect the observations, the fact I found I needed the opposite tire pressure adjustment makes me wonder - either I'm really lost (it's possible I preferred the handling so was more aggressive, but the car was slower overall - or that it really did improve things...) or it's not quite so simple after all.
