tl;dr the rocketbunny is mostly for looks, you can fit a good amount of tire on an 86 without mawds and compound > size.
I have 18x9.5's on my brz with no WB kit and it barely has any poke (not enough for cops to bother me about it) si RB kit is useless if we are strictly speaking tire width and clearance
