At ~20% ethanol my gas mileage was only barely impacted, but I'd like to think that the engine was more smooth and making some more power (it probably was). With boost, it's a no brainer. If it were me I'd keep a couple jugs around if there isn't a station super close to where you live and pour a gallon into every tank as octane booster.

It's good to be back.

Some things happened and I moved back *home* in August. No degree to show for it, and I spent all my BRZ fund to get here. I started over from the beginning, except with car this time and a few years experience.
I thought they still had an E85 pump in Eureka. That turned out to be a lie. That's okay. Whenever I drive up to Medford there is a pump and there is a pump in Yuba City if I head south. I'm headed down to Sac tomorrow. Which I hope is my last trip south of Ukiah for awhile. It feels like I'm driving into a police state when I go down south. I have to have front license plates, only approved mods, and all cats installed. I kept my car factory stock just so I can drive down south. Up here, LEO don't care about that asinine stuff. They just care about drugs and alcohol. And I don't do either.
