they have started selling the brz here in sweden it comes fully equiped only options are automatic and metalic paint. im getting a 6mt so auto is no option really.

car costs 309 000SEK = 42 916 USD (inc all taxes and stuff. no extra costs.)

included in that price is 3 year warranty and a 3 year service deal. you also get a garage cover.

but im also very interested in a camaro 2ss 6mt (v8 428hp/ rs ss package in the states) they are sold here in sweden as well.

cost for a brand new one is 379 000sek = 52 638 USD

i know they are completely different cars but you seam to get to much more for so little extra cash if you get the camaro. how do they compare in the states? are camaros much more expensive then a brz or is there just a small difference as here? camaro is 22% more expensive but you get twice the hp.

guess it all comes down to fuel costs... fuel in sweden 93 (called 95 here) is 14,3 sek per liter = 7,5 usd/gallon.

but still i have like 5-6miles commute to work takes 10min. so gas prices dont really matter, but still sucks when you make a stop at the pump.
i have a car now mazda speed 6. uses 13liter/100km so it should be close to the camaro in fuel costs. will have to check if there are any big insurance differences.

(on a comparison a new 2012 golf gti dsg (235hp) costs 348 000SEK = 48 333USD

i think they screwed us with the pricing on the brz here in sweden what would you do if you where in my shoes go for brz or camaro??
