The level of shear stupidity (not you Turb) this minor change to the car itself has brought on fascinates me in a train wreck sort of way.

The cars are not changing other than whatever the 17 brings and that would have happened no matter what badges were on it.

They are not going to change value one single cent because they have Scion badges. The brand is gone not the freakn' cars.

They are now and always have been Toyota/Subaru cars. Scion never built a single car. Not even once.

There are loads of 86s around the world already that have the same or even less features as the FRS. People comparing a top tier GT86 to an FRS and saying "look at all the things they get" just ignore the bottom trim levels entirely.

The bottom trim of the European 86 cost roughly the same as an FRS. The top trim ones cost almost $8,000 more. You guys that think you are going to get GT86 equipped cars for close to FRS prices are in for a world of disappointment.

All BRZs are not top trim cars either even though some seem to forget this.

All trims around the world be it 86, GT86, FRS or BRZ are the same fuckin' car people. Some just have a few extra things bolted on them. That does not make them better or worse, just different. Many, many people don't want all that crap.

Scion is just in North America and although it may shock some of you to know this cars are sold and used elsewhere in the world. The death of Scion means nothing to the rest of the world. The world preferences and purchases do not revolve around North America no matter what you were taught in school.

This is not the death of the 86. If the 86 dies it had nothing to do with the Scion badge. See above.

Come on people get your heads screwed on straight and think before you start spewing crap about now being "rare" or "collectors items". It is still just a cheap sports car made for the masses.
