Ive got a huge oil cooler and thats part of the problem I think. It's about 1.5x the volume of the perrin.

Perhaps locating the cooler core in your drivers side fender well with a shroud to bring direct airflow similar to the KateCool setup may help with overcooling? Seems like you need my core and I need yours lol !
