Has anyone actually verified any difference in idle or air/fuel mixture now that there is more air available for the engine now that the tube is deleted? The last thing I would want to do is require a tune just because of deleting it. Maybe I'm thinking too far into it, but from the reading that I've done, our engines are rather picky. More air without more fuel and running lean could have long term effects?
There are loads of threads on it but they can be hard to find. Pull it off and plug the hole and all is good. There was zero impact on any system reported by doing this. The tube really didn't divert enough air to make any difference at all.
