Since, I've now moved to the Bay Area, I told him that it seems like an interesting offer but it won't be possible for me to travel and deal with registering it in California. So that was that.

Fast forward to today, I call a dealer in Santa Clara, CA to schedule a service he offers me the same deal. Which I found really weird. Anyways, I scheduled the appointment for tomorrow and I'll update on what he says.

Is it that old FRSs are in huge demand right now? What's going on, have you guys had a similar experience? Should I go for it?

2014 White FRS, AT 13k Miles

NO NO NO NO
This is a marketing scam by car dealers since the first Model T hit the showroom.
They will make all sorts of statements but think about it for a second are they really going to save you money or make it themselves?

My wife fell for this once and we lost huge in the long run (ever try to tell your wife no????)

Every make send these things out by mail or calls customers so don't think the FRS is special. Hell I get these letters every couple of months from Mitsu and I haven't even owned the car for a year and a half and they know it.
