I don't have that problem, but, you may consider (in this order):
Checking the fluid level in the brake fluid reservoir , top off if necessary
See of the brake pedal (under the dash) is binding
Maybe bleed the brake system
Have your car's brakes inspected
Then again, maybe it’s just latent crunchy sounds in your brain …..
