The first time when I tried the swap and ruined the 1st set of calipers I bought new bleeders and used those to cap the ends since I drilled through the allen plugs.
Second time I did the swap I used brand new calipers and with some heat I was able to remove the allen plugs and swap them with the bleeder plugs without problems.
Like you I tried to buy allen plugs but they are not available anywhere.
