You could pay 11% more income tax.... highest in North America. I'll pay more for insurance to avoid the crazy income tax. Living in Ottawa, everyone has the debate on if they should live in Quebec or Ontario. If your a student Quebec is great, if you actually contribute to the world (IE: Have a job) then Ontario is the place to be.
