This may be the best compliment I've had so far. An old family friend came to visit last weekend; he is the CEO of a company that does business consulting and makes a pile of dough. Currently, he is driving a 2015 Audi TTS with an 8 speed automatic.
We went out for Mexican food as he and his wife now live in Orlando and can't get anything approaching decent Tex-Mex there. We took my Burnt Orange (Hot Lava) MT FR-S; he is an Aggie so this was the supreme sacrifice on his part, or so I thought. On the way back, I offered to let him drive the FR-S. He LOVED it! Every time he'd approach a stop at an intersection he'd downshift into second and go "Sorry, but I just love downshifting!" I told him to go right ahead, just don't downshift into first.
After the drive, he said that the car seemed extremely stable in handling and that it would probably be nearly impossible to roll. Then he asked me about the color and I said that he shouldn't worry, he won't start bleeding orange for at least a week.
