JDL UEL sounds better with EL e85 tune?

So I've been lurking around and made an account because I installed my Jdl UEL no cat headers this past weekend. When I first installed them I had the OFT stage 2 e85 EL tune flashed and put about 50 miles on the headers with that tune before switching to the stage 2 UEL e85 tune. It's very hard to describe but to me it sounded like it had much more character with the EL tune. It also seemed a little more responsive when rolling on the gas out of first gear and there seemed to be a larger variation in the range of sounds and rumbles from the exhaust. Now with the UEL tune the only way I can describe it is that it sounds much more like it did with the stock header only louder and slightly more boxer sounding. The only other way I can explain it is it now reminds me of a "bro" truck that sounds like the exhaust is either on or off with no variation in tone.

I know this probably sounds stupid but I'm just wondering if there is a good explanation for this. Is there a simple explanation? Or is this more in depth and could involve several different variables in the tunes? I almost want to flash back to the EL tune just for the sound or just get some expert advice on the matter.

Sorry for such a long post but I didn't expect such a drastic change in exhaust note just from switching the tunes so I was slightly disappointed. FWIW other than the JDL UEL Catless headers I am running stock over pipe and front with Greddy evo 3 cat back, greddy momentum air intake, and Perrin pulley.
