Truly. I lived in Houghton, NY (southern tier, about 65 miles from Buffalo) for about 4 years. I saw 53 inches of snow overnight during the "blizzard of '93". To be fair, those folks in GA (and Texas too) don't have the equipment to deal with these kinds of conditions. But then again, y'all up thar in Canada don't have to handle 112 F temps in the summer either.

Also, never stand on the shoulder or sidewalk of any road being plowed by an Erie County, NY, snow plow going 60 mph down the road plowing snow as it goes. You will probably be killed by the snow flying off the blade. Really.
