Hello @SnowCrash7 and welcome to posting to ye ol forum ......

The tires that have worked for me, up here in the PNW, are the OEM size, Goodyear Eagle Sport all-season.

They do a decent job on snow, a good job on wet roads and hold their own on dry roads.

I don't do auto-X nor track my car.

Personally, for my type of driving, I see no reason to go to a larger tire.

Yes, a larger tire (in diameter) will effect the speedometer reading a bit.

No, a larger tire should not effect any warranty claims (unless they were associated with the change in tire size). Like putting on drag slicks, dumping the clutch and turning in a claim for a broken axle.
