One of my uncles had hardwired a detector into his dash. On a trip through Ontario, he got pulled over and the cop knew he had a detector even though it was not visible. My uncle was told that he had to remove the unit IMMEDIATELY. As in the cop pulled a tool set from his squad car and told him to start pulling the dash apart.....
