It'll ride smoother as the damping and springs will be softer. However, not so much when you hit a big bump and it rams into the bumpstops. Its quite jarring on the MI20 kit.

I'll bet that Ohlins went with 40N/mm front springs to help stop the front bottomnig up too much sooner than the rears do.
