When I rear-ended a pickup truck in my month-old BRZ, I just sat there with my forehead on the steering wheel in disbelief. Believe me, I feel your pain. But a month later and $7500 in insurance payout, I have it back and it's perfect. These cars are built to withstand severe impact. Crumple zones designed to protect you in a crash, and a honkin' frame/chassis to protect the innards of the car. The result is damage that looks like bloody hell, but which usually can be made beautiful again. Since you drove it home with no sense of mechanical damage, there probably isn't any, making a light at the end of the tunnel for a happy ending. Take it to the best body shop you know of and trust them to do it right.
