I live near LA, and when there isn't heavy traffic I often see the average car moving well over 80 mph even though the speed limit is set at 65 mph. I've even seen it once or twice where the traffic was swooping away at nearly 95 mph! Naturally, I have to keep a similar speed with traffic or else I may get the ticket for endangering others.
