Although, something to keep in mind is that with automatic transmission, your highway cruising RPM in 6th gear is a fair bit lower than with manual, so it's not surprising that you see a bit better highway mileage than most people are getting.
I've only calculated my mileage manually two or three times, but the car MPG display shows an average of between 30 and 31 MPG with a mix of city and highway driving. Car is stock, manual transmission.
With MT, I've noticed that any speed past about 72-74 MPH and you're going to start taking fairly significant MPG hits.
