I hate to ask the noob question but here I go.

If i buy this https://www.japanparts.com/parts/detail/42170, is it as simple as taking old shifter out and installing new one, or do I need new springs? I'd get my mechanic to do it.

When it comes to shifters, I don't have much knowledge in the area.

Appreciate the help!

Edit: I want to add that I live in Australia. I've been looking at where to purchase some mtec Springs but have had no luck. Best place I can find is their site.
