I find it very odd too.

All stock fuel pump, running E85 and NA. Running either NT01's or Hankook Z221 mediums.
There are at least two others who are reporting the same problem.

My thought was that 3/4 tank was the point where there is just enough room for the fuel to move away from the pickup for a second, to take in a little air.
I haven't opened my fuel tank to know how true that is though.

Could it be that E85 is too much for the stock fuel pump in these conditions?
