The enemy of my enemy is my friend.
On the other hand, I don't really have any enemies. Does that mean I have no friends?
AND.. if you fail to plan, then you plan to fail, what happens if your plan IS to fail? If you fail, hasn't your plan succeeded?
AND .. practice doesn't make perfect if you screw up a lot when you practice. Then you just get better at screwing up.
