And "Adjustable Spanner" is actually much more descriptive than "crescent wrench".

The brits version of the pronunciation is actually correct for the
element Aluminium. (funny spell checker is trying to 'fix' my spelling right there...)
However the
alloy that we are all familiar with is pronounced Al-oo-Min-um in Murica.
