No, I have not. But I also know my basic chemistry. Anything that comes out of a gas mixture will be dissolved by it when you bring in fresh gas. I am willing to bet any crud you find in the reservoir/tank is probably not from the gasoline you have been putting in it. Its been proven a few times that the "don't let your gas go below 1/4 tank" story is an old wive's tale. Good winter advice, but baseless car maintenance advice.
