I am talking about starting from a standstill on a steep incline. As in very steep.

I've never encountered red lights or stop signs in such steep inclines. So no, not what I'm talking about.

No, it's as old as the handbrake. Been used since before the combustion engine was invented.
I used to drive big rigs in the mountains of Norway. So don't take me for a fool who can't drive, ok. That pisses me off.
