Sorry Mr driving instructor I'll try harder to refine my heel toe technique(which my ankle lacks the mobility to perform in the first place) under the highest risk situation possible next time. Turning on your wipers when you have already ascertained the windshield is clear would be foolish and nothing life using a readily available tool to make a difficult driving situation safer. If you have the ability to not stall and bump the guy behind you, then by all means, continue to not use the hand brake. For every one else who doesn't teach a driving school for drifters, I'm pretty sure we can continue to use or hand brakes just fine. There is no awful consequence that can come of it so why are you so worried about how I choose to drive my car?
