Ya, I was lucky that a bunch of my stuff got packed away for a move back in 74 and was forgotten in my parents attic until about 6 years ago when my sister was looking for something and found it.
Even more surprising was that a handful of the 100s of model kits I built as a kid survived intact (most met the same fate as the B17 I mentioned in a previous post).


This one I built when I was about 11. The two mangled antennas are stretched plastic sprue and although brittle survived almost 40 years in a box with other stuff piled on top of them.
