It's not quite apples to oranges for fuel economy with turbo cars and N/A cars - my last car was also rated for 25 MPG combined, but I get better gas mileage in my BRZ than I did in my GTI. If you like to drive around in boost, gas mileage can go to poop very, very quickly.
