I would suggest you do some actual research in to it, and make your own decision.
Having said that, I have had multiple items powdercoated and the only thing I can say is it has always looked good and been easy to maintain. Nothing but benefits IMO. (Brake calipers on multiple cars, wheels, one cars rear IRS cradle.... lots of stuff.)
