Never heard of such a thing. Have heard that some companies would even cover an on track incident at an 'educational event' (one way to interpret HPDE), but most people have enough sense to pay for their own mistakes to keep life simple.

My current fb photo is me autocrossing, have been tagged in track photos for a year, when I signed up for my policy my family knew someone at the company through competitive kart Racing as a kid.

There are guys who make a living off tracking their cars and participating in track dayS, never heard any of them bitch about insurance, CSG would come to mind.

Edit: street Racing would probably be a no-go, forgot about that angle, not saying they don't do some checking, only that I haven't heard of anything in the legit HPDE/autox world, stuff that's been around for decades, I mean, many insurance companies sponsor racecars.
