It sounds like a very good deal, but I don't know if it's a too-good-to-be-true deal.. it could be legit. Remember, this is a niche market car. To us, it's a great car. To the general populace, it's an impractical car that can't be driven safely year round (WRONG.. but that's how most folks feel about RWD these days). The market is slow on these, and they sit on dealer's floors for a long time typically.

I paid 17,750 for mine w/ 22,500 on it (FR-S base, manual, argento), Toyota certified (12/12k comp, 7 yr/100K drivetrain) from a dealer a little over a month ago. 14K in the private market, no warranty... it's not that far off.

Just sayin'. Look at it closely, of course, and DO check into the title history for sure. If that checks out, it may actually be just a very good deal, and not a big fat mess!
